Responsibility
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for Unix/Linux-based systems and applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential vulnerabilities or failures.
- Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and big data platforms.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot application-related problems.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry standards.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in open-source technologies and IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in technical support, system administration, or IT operations.
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
- Familiarity with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and basic SQL queries.
- Basic understanding of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) or programming languages (Python, Bash, Java) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and in a team under tight deadlines.
- Certifications in Linux (LPIC, Red Hat) or ITIL are advantageous.
