In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients using MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms, troubleshooting technical issues, configuring trading environments, and ensuring seamless user experiences. Responsibility
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for MT4/MT5 trading platforms via email, chat, and phone.
- Diagnose and resolve software, connectivity, and configuration issues for traders and brokers.
- Assist clients with platform installation, updates, and customization (e.g., indicators, EAs, scripts).
- Collaborate with development teams to escalate and track bugs or feature requests.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides for internal and external use.
- Monitor platform performance and proactively identify potential issues before they impact users.
- Conduct training sessions for clients or team members on MT4/MT5 functionalities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in forex/CFD trading technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in technical support, preferably for MT4/MT5 or trading platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking, and database management (SQL, MySQL).
- Familiarity with API integrations, VPS setups, and scripting languages (Python, MQL4/MQL5 is a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a bonus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a stable internet connection.
- Passion for financial markets, forex, or CFD trading is highly advantageous.
