Responsibility
- Provide advanced technical support for Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, troubleshooting issues related to deployment, scaling, networking, and security.
- Diagnose and resolve complex incidents in cloud-native environments, including container orchestration, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve critical customer issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and best practices for Kubernetes and DevOps workflows.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and recommend proactive solutions to enhance system reliability.
- Assist customers with Helm charts, YAML configurations, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and logs using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes releases, and DevOps methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or DevOps roles, with a focus on Kubernetes.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD certification is a plus), Docker, and containerization technologies.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems, scripting (Bash, Python), and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their managed Kubernetes services (EKS, GKE, AKS).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
