Responsibility
- Oversee and optimize IT operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of systems and infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based and on-premise IT solutions to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance scalability and reliability.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiations and service level agreements (SLAs), to ensure cost-effective and high-quality IT services.
- Lead IT projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and on-premise infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration (e.g., Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, firewalls).
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
