Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for backend systems, APIs, and databases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Postman, Selenium, or REST Assured.
- Perform load, stress, and performance testing to ensure system scalability.
- Validate data integrity and security compliance across backend services.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality improvements.
- Stay updated with industry best practices in QA testing and backend technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Tester, with a focus on backend systems and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
- Experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to document and report issues effectively.
