Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate technicians and contractors to execute pipeline repair, connection, verification, and termination works safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of distribution pipelines to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize pipeline performance and longevity.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to plan and execute pipeline projects, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Monitor and report on the progress of maintenance and repair activities, providing updates to management as required.
- Ensure all work adheres to industry regulations, company policies, and environmental safety guidelines.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to maintain uninterrupted pipeline operations.
- Train and mentor junior staff and contractors on best practices in pipeline operations and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field. Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pipeline operations, maintenance, or a similar role within the energy, utilities, or oil and gas sectors.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline systems, pressure testing, and leak detection methodologies.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams of technicians and contractors.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures for pipeline operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using technical software and tools for pipeline monitoring and reporting.
- Willingness to work in field-based environments and travel to various sites within Badung as needed.
