Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Apple Pay and other digital payment integrations across mobile and web platforms.
- Architect scalable, secure backend systems to support high-volume transaction processing.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define technical roadmaps for payment solutions.
- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, tokenization standards, and Appleâs certification requirements.
- Optimize system performance, latency, and reliability for global payment workflows.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality, maintainable codebases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to payment gateways, APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in fintech, blockchain, and contactless payments to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Masterâs preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of integrating Apple Pay, Google Pay, or similar mobile payment systems.
- Expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proficiency in iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin, or backend languages (Node.js, Python, Java).
- Strong understanding of security protocols, encryption, and OAuth 2.0.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
