Responsibility
- Translate architectural and engineering designs into detailed technical drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback to meet client and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and organize drawing sets, including plans, elevations, sections, and details for construction documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and best practices in drafting.
- Assist in the development of 3D models and renderings to enhance project visualization.
- Ensure all drawings are properly filed, version-controlled, and accessible to the project team.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss design changes, progress, and potential challenges.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role, preferably in architectural or construction projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and other drafting tools.
- Strong understanding of architectural terminology, construction methods, and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio showcasing previous drafting work is a plus.
