Responsibility
- Assist in the design, prototyping, and testing of drone and robotic systems, including UAVs, ground robots, and autonomous vehicles.
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to develop and optimize algorithms for navigation, computer vision, and sensor fusion.
- Conduct field tests and data collection to validate system performance under real-world conditions.
- Support the integration of hardware and software components, ensuring seamless functionality across platforms.
- Document technical specifications, test results, and project progress for internal and external stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in drone/robotic systems, providing actionable solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in robotics, AI, and automation to propose innovative improvements.
- Assist in workshops, demos, and training sessions to showcase MRANTI’s technological capabilities to partners and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in drone development, embedded systems, or robotics (academic projects or internships accepted).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Hands-on experience with sensor integration (LiDAR, IMU, cameras) and microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32).
- Knowledge of autonomous navigation, SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), or control systems.
- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and 3D printing for prototyping.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Malay/Indonesian is a plus.
