Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Utilize accounting software to automate processes, reduce errors, and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support business decisions.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Stay updated on tax laws and ensure timely filing of tax returns.
- Implement best practices for financial data security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
