As a Tax Specialist, you will oversee the accurate calculation, timely payment, and precise reporting of all corporate tax obligations. Your expertise will help mitigate risks, ensure adherence to evolving tax laws, and support the financial health of our real estate projects across Bali’s most sought-after locations, including Canggu, Ubud, and Nusa Dua.

Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports in compliance with Indonesian tax laws and real estate industry regulations.
- Calculate and ensure timely payment of corporate taxes, including VAT, income tax, and property-related taxes.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company’s financial and operational strategies.
- Collaborate with the finance and legal teams to optimize tax planning and minimize liabilities for real estate transactions.
- Conduct internal audits to verify tax compliance and identify areas for process improvement.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities to resolve tax-related inquiries or disputes.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date tax records, documentation, and supporting files for audits and inspections.
- Provide tax-related advice to management and other departments to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., Brevet A/B, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably within the real estate or property development industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, including PPH, PPN, and local property taxes.
- Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local tax applications).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; familiarity with Balinese business culture is advantageous.
