Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns (corporate, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.) in compliance with Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular tax audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and documentation required for tax reporting.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise management on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.
- Develop and implement tax-saving strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance.
- Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting processes with a focus on tax implications.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities to resolve tax-related inquiries.
- Maintain organized records of tax filings, payments, and correspondence for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. A Brevet A & B certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, including PPN, PPh, and other relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., e-SPT, e-Faktur) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal).
