Responsibility
- Prepare and review corporate and individual tax returns in compliance with Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
- Assist clients with tax planning and optimization strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring full compliance.
- Conduct tax research and provide advisory on complex tax issues, including cross-border transactions and transfer pricing.
- Liaise with tax authorities (e.g., DJP) on behalf of clients for audits, inquiries, and dispute resolution.
- Support due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate restructuring activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international tax developments and communicate relevant updates to clients and team members.
- Collaborate with audit and advisory teams to provide integrated solutions tailored to client needs.
- Prepare tax provision calculations and financial statement disclosures for corporate clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. A Brevet A & B certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in tax compliance, advisory, or a related role within a public accounting firm or corporate tax department.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws, including Income Tax, VAT, and Withholding Tax regulations.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., e-SPT, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a client-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or already based in the region.
