Responsibility
- Lead and manage expatriate tax compliance and advisory projects for multinational clients, ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations.
- Develop and implement global mobility strategies, including tax-efficient assignment structures and compensation packages.
- Provide technical tax advice on cross-border employment, social security, and payroll tax matters.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify tax risks and opportunities related to global workforce deployment.
- Prepare and review tax calculations, filings, and reporting for expatriates and inbound/outbound assignees.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes in international tax laws and communicate their impact to clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in tax advisory, with a focus on Global Employer Services, expatriate taxation, or international mobility.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and familiarity with tax treaties, double taxation agreements, and OECD guidelines.
- Proven experience in managing client portfolios and leading cross-functional teams in a professional services environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with clients and colleagues at all levels.
