Responsibility

  • Assist in monitoring tax compliance for clients, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other relevant tax documents.
  • Support tax audits by gathering documentation, coordinating with auditors, and addressing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, and operations) to provide tax-related guidance and solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in tax planning and advisory projects to optimize clients' tax positions.
  • Liaise with government agencies and third-party service providers on tax-related matters.
  • Contribute to the development of tax compliance processes and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or a similar role (internships included).
  • Familiarity with Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and tax software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Certification in taxation (e.g., Brevet A/B) or willingness to pursue certification is a plus.
