Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the preparation and submission of all tax filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international regulations.
- Oversee government reporting requirements, including statutory audits, financial statements, and regulatory disclosures.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s financial position while ensuring full compliance.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, providing timely updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audits and resolve any compliance issues.
- Train and mentor junior staff on tax compliance procedures, best practices, and regulatory updates.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial records to identify discrepancies and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency in tax and regulatory reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance, regulatory reporting, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and government reporting requirements.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
