Whether you’re reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, or liaising with cross-functional teams, your expertise will directly contribute to our company’s success.

First Focus IT is a forward-thinking technology and finance solutions provider, committed to innovation and excellence. As part of our team, you’ll enjoy a hybrid work model, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional development. If you’re passionate about finance, eager to grow, and ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you!

Note: This role requires prior experience with NZ/AU payroll systems and a strong understanding of international accounting standards.

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and financial anomalies.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and government agencies as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in payroll and accounting operations.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while meeting deadlines and managing priorities.
