In this dynamic role, you will oversee tax filings, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize fiscal strategies to support our eco-conscious business operations. Based in the vibrant Badung region (covering Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Kuta), you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial transparency and sustainability.

Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (PPN, PPh, etc.) in compliance with Indonesian regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax reports to relevant authorities (DJP, local tax offices).
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities while adhering to legal requirements.
- Review financial statements and general ledger entries for tax implications and accuracy.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to resolve discrepancies or audits.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff on tax procedures and best practices.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and proactively adjust company policies to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate with finance teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; CPA or Brevet A/B certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (PPN, PPh, PP 23, etc.) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Proven experience with tax software (e.g., e-SPT, DJP Online) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Experience in sustainable or eco-friendly industries is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
