Responsibility
- Assist in preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in compliance with Indonesian regulations.
- Support the accounting team in reconciliating financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Help maintain general ledger accounts and perform data entry for financial transactions.
- Conduct basic financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
- Assist in audit preparations by compiling documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data for budgeting and forecasting.
- Stay updated on local tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all financial processes.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in accounting workflows.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Indonesian tax laws (PPH, PPN, etc.) and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior internship or coursework in taxation or accounting is highly desirable.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new financial software and tools.
