Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Lead system integration projects, ensuring seamless interoperability between hardware, software, and third-party applications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system-related issues, minimizing downtime and resolving incidents efficiently.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, from planning and implementation to testing and go-live.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance scalability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards to safeguard data integrity and confidentiality.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve infrastructure efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a System Engineer, IT Infrastructure Specialist, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Hands-on experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and firewall/security configurations.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for system management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, AWS Certified SysOps) are a plus.
