Responsibility
- Operate and monitor sewage and waste-gas treatment units to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of treatment systems to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Collect and analyze samples to verify the effectiveness of treatment processes.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable practices and improve environmental performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in treatment systems to minimize downtime.
- Participate in environmental audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards in all operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating sewage or waste-gas treatment systems, preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong technical skills in maintaining and troubleshooting treatment equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using data collection and analysis tools.
- Certification in environmental management or related fields is a plus.
