Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems for suppliers and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate quality performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement in product and process quality.
- Prepare and present quality reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, non-conformances, and improvement opportunities.
- Train and mentor suppliers and internal teams on quality best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Lead or participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action (CAPA) initiatives for quality deviations.
- Ensure all products and materials meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements before shipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related) or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Supply Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Supplier Quality Management within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Experience conducting supplier audits, quality inspections, and risk assessments.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, and 5 Why analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and quality management software is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel regionally or internationally as required (up to 20-30%).
