Responsibility
- Develop and execute material planning strategies to align with production forecasts and demand fluctuations.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement just-in-time (JIT) principles to minimize excess stock and reduce carrying costs.
- Collaborate with suppliers, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to optimize inbound and outbound transportation, ensuring cost-effective and timely shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements, lead times, and supplier performance using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Resolve material shortages or delays proactively by implementing contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen projects to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations, preferably in electronics manufacturing or a high-volume production environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning), demand forecasting, and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
