Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with palm oil farmers and plantation owners to ensure a steady and high-quality supply.
- Negotiate and finalize supply agreements, ensuring terms are favorable for both parties.
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives and market demand.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess farmer needs, address concerns, and provide support to enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Analyze market trends and supply data to forecast demand and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions for farmers to improve agricultural practices and yield quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or agricultural sales, preferably in the palm oil industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agricultural practices, supply chain logistics, and market dynamics in Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and supply chain management software is a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently to rural areas and plantations within Bali.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; knowledge of local dialects is an advantage.
