Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with palm oil farmers and plantation owners to secure consistent supply.
- Negotiate and finalize supply agreements, ensuring fair pricing and sustainable practices.
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess quality and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and align supply strategies.
- Promote sustainable farming practices and provide training to farmers as needed.
- Resolve any supply-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or agricultural sales.
- Strong understanding of the palm oil industry and its supply chain dynamics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to travel frequently to rural areas and work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software.
- Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and certifications is a plus.
