Responsibility
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of health commodity distribution networks.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and proposing actionable improvements.
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners to align supply chain operations with program goals.
- Oversee procurement processes, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and organizational policies.
- Design and maintain inventory management systems to prevent stockouts and reduce wastage of critical health supplies.
- Train and mentor local staff and stakeholders on best practices in supply chain management and logistics.
- Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain activities, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management.
- Support the integration of digital tools and technologies to streamline supply chain operations and improve data visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the health sector or international development.
- Proven track record in managing complex logistics operations, including procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in multicultural environments.
- Familiarity with donor-funded programs (e.g., USAID, WHO, Global Fund) and their compliance requirements.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP, CPIM) or related fields is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within Indonesia and occasionally internationally as needed.
