Responsibility
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize costs while maintaining high service levels.
- Oversee procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and vendor performance management to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, finance) to align supply chain operations with business objectives and demand forecasting.
- Monitor and analyze logistics and distribution networks to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for improved efficiency.
- Lead demand planning and forecasting to ensure accurate inventory replenishment and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Implement supply chain best practices, including lean methodologies, just-in-time (JIT) inventory, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies in all supply chain activities.
- Utilize ERP and supply chain management software to track performance metrics, generate reports, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics management, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation with a focus on cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, ERP systems).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms.
- Experience with supply chain optimization software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to changing business needs.
