Responsibility
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of medical instruments to prevent stockouts or excess, ensuring optimal availability.
- Coordinate the logistics of medical equipment shipments, including scheduling, tracking, and resolving delivery discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all supply chain transactions, including receipts, transfers, and disposals.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehousing, and distribution teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and assets to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain performance and reduce operational costs.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain strong working relationships.
- Generate reports on supply chain metrics, such as turnaround times, inventory accuracy, and cost savings, for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain coordination, inventory management, or logistics, preferably in the medical or healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical device distribution is a plus.
