Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability to meet project requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and emerging suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, logistics) to align procurement strategies with project goals.
- Resolve supplier disputes or delivery issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, or Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of contract law, sourcing strategies, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a project-based environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian market suppliers and local procurement regulations is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
