Responsibility
- Develop and implement supplier quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier facilities to evaluate their quality management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve supplier-related quality issues.
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to suppliers on quality control processes and best practices.
- Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to address quality non-conformances.
- Participate in the selection and qualification of new suppliers.
- Prepare and present reports on supplier quality performance to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Experience with supplier audits, quality control processes, and corrective action plans.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
- Ability to travel to supplier locations as needed.
