Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers to ensure efficient and accurate transactions.
- Train and mentor new cashiers on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Monitor cashier performance and provide constructive feedback to improve productivity.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
- Assist in scheduling shifts and managing staff attendance to meet operational needs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth store operations and inventory management.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cashier or supervisory role in retail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in retail management are a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management and cash handling procedures.
