Responsibility
- Participate in structured on-the-job training covering all aspects of retail store operations.
- Support the Store Manager in daily operations, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and housekeeping.
- Assist in managing store inventory, ensuring accurate records and minimizing shrinkage.
- Develop basic team leadership skills by guiding junior staff and promoting a collaborative work culture.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Support administrative tasks, including sales reporting and staff scheduling.
- Execute promotional activities and store layouts according to company guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and security policies within the store premises.
Qualifications
- Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in any field (Retail Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines preferred).
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply; prior retail or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in Malay and English.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as per the retail schedule.
- Proactive, target-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Technically proficient with standard office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
- Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to solve problems independently.
- Must be willing to be based in Kubang Semang, Penang.
