As an SAP participant, you will dive deep into the day-to-day operations of one of the fastest-growing retailers in the region. You will learn the intricacies of inventory management, team leadership, and the high standards of customer service that MR.DIY is known for. Responsibility

  • Shadow store supervisors to understand daily operations, store opening/closing procedures, and shift scheduling.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandise displays to optimize sales performance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Support the store management team in executing promotional campaigns and visual merchandising standards.
  • Monitor and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the store premises.
  • Participate in team meetings to contribute ideas for operational efficiency and staff engagement.
  • Gain proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail back-office reporting software.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree holder in any field (Retail Management or Business Administration is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
  • Fresh graduates or individuals with up to 1-2 years of retail experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to work on a rotating shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and problem-solving capabilities.
  • High level of integrity, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
