Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial vehicles to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems using advanced diagnostic tools and software.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, identify issues, and provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance.
- Repair and replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and adherence to service schedules.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used for each vehicle.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies, industry trends, and best practices through continuous learning and training.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns, explaining repair processes, and ensuring satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician or in a similar automotive repair role.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in commercial vehicles.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and software, such as OBD-II scanners and manufacturer-specific diagnostic systems.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Certification in automotive technology or a related field is a plus (e.g., ASE, manufacturer-specific certifications).
