Responsibility
- Perform precision metal fabrication, including cutting, bending, and welding, to create automotive components.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Operate and maintain fabrication machinery, including CNC machines, presses, and welding equipment.
- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine fabrication processes and improve efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace to prevent accidents.
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement corrective actions to maintain production schedules.
- Document fabrication processes and maintain records for quality control and compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Fabricator or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in metal fabrication techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in a fabrication environment.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials and operate machinery.
