Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the assigned supermarket department, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, and rotating products to minimize waste and maximize availability.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve department performance, including sales growth, cost control, and efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and visually appealing department layout to enhance the shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with other department managers and senior leadership to align on store-wide goals and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a supermarket or grocery store environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a diverse team.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, merchandising, and sales techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by retail operations.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
