Responsibility
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to optimize supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Lead supplier localization initiatives to reduce lead times, enhance supply chain resilience, and support regional growth.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Drive cost-reduction programs through strategic negotiations, bulk purchasing, and process improvements without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with product development and demand forecasting.
- Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and geopolitical factors to anticipate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Implement supplier development programs to enhance performance, quality, and compliance with corporate standards.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, KPIs, and cost-saving achievements to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or CIPS certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making, Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across global teams.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs compliance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, German) are advantageous.
