Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize procurement costs and supplier performance.
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, logistics, finance) to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor supply chain metrics (e.g., lead times, delivery performance) and propose improvements.
- Analyze spend data to identify trends, cost drivers, and areas for consolidation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.
- Support supplier relationship management to foster long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work across global teams.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work night shifts (8:00 PM to 5:00 AM) in a hybrid setup.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
