Responsibility
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between system records and actual stock levels.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures to minimize errors and losses.
- Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure accurate tracking of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory status, variances, and trends for management review.
- Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, proposing corrective actions to resolve issues.
- Support cycle counting initiatives and participate in annual inventory audits.
- Utilize inventory management software to update and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in the optimization of inventory storage and organization to improve efficiency and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in inventory management, auditing, or a similar role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
