Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials, equipment, and services.
- Conduct market research to evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure cost-effective and high-quality procurement solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely deliveries, resolving disputes, and maintaining strong partnerships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and prevent stockouts.
- Prepare and analyze purchase orders, invoices, and expenditure reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to verify supplier compliance with company standards and specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new suppliers to drive continuous improvement in procurement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with inventory management, contract law, and supplier evaluation metrics.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other Southeast Asian languages is a plus.
