Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to secure cost-effective, high-quality materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with local and international suppliers to maximize value.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and inventory levels to mitigate risks and ensure supply chain resilience.
- Collaborate with production, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement with operational needs.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and maintain a database of approved vendors based on quality, reliability, and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze purchase orders, bids, and cost comparisons to support data-driven decisions.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to prevent production delays and meet project deadlines.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements affecting procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record of cost reduction and supplier negotiation in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Knowledge of inventory management, demand forecasting, and contract law.
