Responsibility
- Assist in the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, components, and services to support production and operational needs.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and reliability.
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective contracts while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Track and report on procurement KPIs, including lead times, cost savings, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications in the ERP system.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (internships or entry-level roles are a plus).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of incoterms, contract law, and supplier evaluation is advantageous.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
