Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability to meet production demands.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and shortages.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on procured materials to maintain high standards.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, finance, logistics) to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Track market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and supplier communications for auditing and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and procurement software (e.g., ERP, SAP).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
