Responsibility
- Partnership Development: Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships with industry leaders, government agencies, and academic institutions to support SIT’s educational and research objectives.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and market demands to align SIT’s programs with current and future workforce needs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, alumni, and faculty, to foster collaboration and resource-sharing.
- Program Alignment: Work with academic teams to ensure curriculum and research initiatives are industry-relevant and meet the evolving needs of the job market.
- Fundraising & Resource Mobilization: Develop and execute strategies to secure funding, sponsorships, and in-kind support for SIT’s projects and initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Admissions, Research) to integrate partnership strategies into broader institutional goals.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track KPIs to measure the success of partnerships, including student placements, research outputs, and industry engagement levels.
- Reporting & Advocacy: Prepare compelling reports and presentations for senior management and external partners to showcase the impact of strategic collaborations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in partnership development, business development, or corporate relations, preferably in higher education, EdTech, or a related sector. Senior Manager candidates should have 8+ years of experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the education sector, industry-academia collaboration, and emerging trends in technology, hospitality, or applied sciences.
- Networking Skills: Proven ability to build and sustain high-level relationships with C-suite executives, government officials, and academic leaders.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop long-term partnership strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and presentations.
- Project Management: Experience managing multiple high-priority initiatives with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Cultural Agility: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural setting, with sensitivity to diverse business practices and educational systems.
