Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of raw materials, components, and services.
- Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and risk assessments to maintain a reliable supply chain.
- Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production schedules and inventory requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics and production teams to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and finance teams to assess supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through market analysis, bulk purchasing, and alternative supplier evaluations.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions proactively and implement contingency plans to minimize operational impact.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, generate reports, and provide insights to senior management for data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or optics/photonics industries.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles and just-in-time (JIT) procurement strategies.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
