Responsibility
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, preparing and filing accurate tax returns.
- Develop and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations for business improvement.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Support audit processes by preparing documentation and liaising with external auditors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and local tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the food or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
