Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily storeroom operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing raw materials and spare parts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using digital or manual systems to ensure real-time tracking of stock levels.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
- Implement and enforce storeroom policies, procedures, and safety protocols to comply with industry standards.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
- Inspect incoming shipments for quality, quantity, and compliance with purchase orders.
- Organize storeroom layout for efficient space utilization and easy access to frequently used items.
- Train, mentor, and supervise storeroom staff to ensure high performance and adherence to best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in storeroom, warehouse, or inventory management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, barcoding, and stock management software.
- Proven ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and maintain a productive work environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and inventory management tools.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a storeroom or warehouse setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
