Responsibility
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and invoices.
- Organize and arrange stock in the store room to ensure efficient retrieval and space optimization.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist in periodic stocktaking exercises to minimize shrinkage.
- Label items with correct pricing and barcodes before they are moved to the sales floor.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of stock movements, damages, and returns.
- Collaborate with the Floor Manager to identify low-stock items and initiate replenishment requests.
- Ensure the storage area is kept clean, tidy, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods from delivery trucks when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in retail, warehousing, or inventory management is highly preferred.
- Basic numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift/move heavy items regularly.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with MS Excel or inventory software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, public holidays, and shift rotations.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia; English proficiency is an added advantage.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
