Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive audits of retail stores to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate operational efficiency, inventory management, and financial controls to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for store management and corporate leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and monitor progress.
- Develop and maintain audit schedules, ensuring timely completion of all assigned audits.
- Provide training and guidance to store staff on audit findings and best practices.
- Analyze financial data and performance metrics to assess store profitability and operational health.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure audit practices remain current and effective.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal audit, retail operations, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of audit principles, financial controls, and retail operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit management software.
- Ability to travel to various store locations as required.
- Certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
