Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming stock shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date inventory records using digital tracking systems.
- Prepare and pack orders for delivery, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and securely packaged.
- Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in coordinating with logistics teams to schedule and track shipments efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels and report low inventory to the procurement team to prevent shortages.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Provide support to store operations as needed, including assisting with customer inquiries and stock displays.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Stocks Clerk, Inventory Assistant, or similar role in logistics/warehousing.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and digital tracking tools (e.g., ERP systems).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock records and data entry.
- Basic math skills and ability to perform quick calculations for inventory counts.
- Physical stamina to lift, move, and organize stock items as required.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
